COVID Update: Basketball Is Back

Updated: Jun 15, 2020

Maitland Basketball - reopens Saturday 13th June

Recent Government announcements mean that as of this Saturday, we are able to open our facility for basketball practice sessions. We are excited to have our community back together again.

This is possible as we are COVID-Safe approved by the NSW Government, see here to read more about the NSW health page for indoor recreational facilities. There will be some important Biosafety Measures in place, and our focus will be on making sure all participants can enjoy basketball in a safe and fun environment. Program info updates are below...see you soon!

At this stage there are no casual shoot-around sessions available, and our staff are working to a varied schedule, so the facility will not be open at all times. The best way to contact our club for basketball enquiries at the moment is via email - Andrew Bear: competitions@maitland.basketball.net.au

Development Programs

For both Aussie Hoops and Miniball, we are working on providing a safe and enjoyable environment within the existing Biosafety measures. We will have an announcement about the resumption of these programs very soon.

Representative

Representative team sessions will be coordinated via team staff (coaches and managers).  We expect BNSW to make an announcement very soon about a return to competition. We will pass on this information as soon as it comes to hand via team managers and email.
